Funk Friday - Valentine's Day Edition (Let's Do It)

I moved Funk Friday to Thursday this week due to Valentines Day.  While I love what this day stands for I hate that it has been overrun by the drive to make a dollar (ahem, Hallmark).

Here's my take on Valentine's Day:

Don't buy something on this "holiday", I suggest you DO something. How about making a card rather than buying one? Or maybe cook a nice meal rather than dining out?  Write a poem, or take a picture.  Most importantly, if you feel love someone be sure to let them know regardless of if it is Valentine's Day or not.
