As our Social Impact & Operations Director, you’ll manage the heartbeat of our growing movement while developing into a true leadership partner. This is a paying job as well as an opportunity to co-create meaningful change while growing in career, relationship, leadership, and collaboration skills. At a high level, this role will:
Manage operations for a purpose-driven social impact organization
Clear pathway to co-founder partnership based on growth metrics

Creating Impact with Co-Owner Potential
You’ll be the operational backbone of our growing movement, managing the systems that allow our creative work to flourish while contributing your own insights and ideas to our evolution.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage project timelines and accountability systems
Lead community and engagement growth
Coordinate content calendar and social media presence
Support event planning, registration, and execution
Manage a growing content library and media distribution
Transform creative ideas into actionable plans
Contribute to strategy development and implementation

Accelerating increasing audience growth via newsletter and social media channels
Expanding events from monthly to bi-weekly, and perhaps more in the future
Assist in booking and facilitating speaking engagements and training sessions
Co-lead creation, management, and delivery of online courses for multiple topics which are already in the planning phases
Take a leading role in the launch of a future community platform
Create systems for tracking impact and growth metrics

Is this position remote or in-person?
This is a fully remote position with occasional virtual team meetings. If you’re located near Ventura, CA, there may be opportunities for in-person collaboration, but this is not required.
What are the expected hours per week?
Initially, we’re looking for 15-20 hours per week with flexibility on scheduling. As our work grows, there’s potential to increase hours based on mutual agreement and business growth.
How is the co-founder pathway determined?
The pathway to co-founder status includes clear metrics around operational impact, strategic contribution, values alignment, and business growth. We’ll establish specific milestones together during the first month, with quarterly reviews of progress.
What specific skills are most important?
The most critical skills are organizational excellence, communication abilities, and alignment with our mission. Technical skills like social media management can be developed, but a foundation of operational strength and values resonance is essential.
How will performance be evaluated?
We’ll establish clear metrics together based on both operational outcomes (social engagement, event attendance, etc.) and qualitative impact (shared feedback, community response). Regular, transparent check-ins will ensure alignment and growth.
